The show went very well and the children in this group were probably one of the best audiences I have ever had for the age group. All were willing and wanting to participate in the show. When I would ask for a volunteer I would see a storm of hands shooting straight up in the air! I couldn't have asked for a better group than what I performed for this afternoon.
One of the memorable moments that I enjoyed and can remember off the top of my head. Was when I performed magic with a roll of toilet paper. My volunteer really seemed to be having some fun with this and went along wonderfully with me throughout the process. At one point when I was stuffing my mouth full of the toilet paper piece by piece. She just took her piece wadded it up and without hesitation crammed it in her mouth. It was a hysterical moment in the show. The peak point of this trick was the reaction of all the children that I received when I started to pull a very colorful paper chain from my mouth. She was a great helper and a lot of fun while performing this particular magic trick.
My most favorite trick of all that I do is when I get to light my magic cooking pan on fire. Of course I gave the children all a lecture about never to play with matches or fire due to the possibility of severely injuring themselves. Overall I had a great time entertaining the children at this school and would do it again in a heart beat if I were to ever get the opportunity again.
